  I was looking around at Twitter, and through some investigation, found a few strange tweets about Andy and what he's been doing... So Ibiza studios retweeted this originally from Greeniedrums. Then there is this... Thetingtings @thetings 9 May News = Andy Taylor (D Duran) is co-producing new album. After hooking up 2 yrs ago it has finally happened. 100% gold per toonage. J So, Andy's been working with other artists, but not finishing the album he's been telling us he's doing??? WTF Andy, couldn't you have done that AFTER doing Motherlode?

It would have been nice of him to tell us. But really, I think it's a cross between the money and the fanbase. There aren't enough of us with enough spendable cash for him to generate any significant sales of his material, but bands using him and his studio have to pay a fair bit up front. Two, three years at the control panel and he can spend the next 30 doing whatever the hell he wants. |

That's the same thing that was mentioned in that Drum magazine article, so I'm going to keep an eye on their Twitter page.

I hope there's news. I still check my inbox and spam folder hoping to find a note from Andy. I know it's never going to happen again, but I keep hoping.
