I love for Andy to come back he'd need to change? FU Simon, what does Andy need to change? You don't specify, or is that just some fucking lame excuse???

All of the sudden they're communicating with him...interesting...
From their Twitterzes:
"thisistherealJT Andy Taylor's 50 today. Have a good one Bonnie Lad x"
"SimonJCLeBON I wish Andy Taylor Happy Birthday today."

They don't specify how Andy should change, do they? Maybe Simon could come straight out and say, "Don't suffer from depression."
Maybe Duran Duran need to change, that's what I think. They've all got their heads up Nick's ass, and with him owning the band that might be okay, except he can't fukkin' play a melody, he just likes to makes layer after layer of synth noise that goes nowhere.
They need a strong guitar player that can write music. I suppose Dom could, but he's far too willing to take orders.

Did they bother to wish Andy personally? Or is this not for birthday boy's eyes?
I've outlined more change than they could handle. That band cannot go anywhere because they are conformists. Simon and Nick crave popularity. John will conform to anything that is hip. If Andy had a voice in that band John would have been more hard rock. When Warren was in John conformed to being hard rock, going with his and Warren's version of I wanna take you higher over the others dance version. Since we're not in the alt rock 90s and in the bleeps and hip hop 10's that's what we'll get more of. They sold their soul a bit with Astronaut and were sort of on the right track perhaps with Reportage, but then decided to sell out completely. Now they're firm sellouts, no coming back.

Why do we still care about this band if they aren't willing to listen to the fans that truly love them? The fans that know what type of music they are capable of, and should make? I just don't understand it. Does money really mean that much to them that they'd sell themselves out just for short term wealth? What about the fans that made them their millions?

Exactly. Today's music is a terrible thing to conform to. They need to innovate.

Andy's working on a new album. I hope someone sends Nigel a copy.
