Duran Duran’s Perfect Driving Soundtrack, Chicago May 15th, 2014 Hi Katy - I've wondered for years: do "Lake Shore Driving" and "Edge of America" have anything at all to do with Lake Shore Drive in Chicago? Both are, tonally, perfect pieces of music to drive the Drive late at night. I’ve forgotten to ask this for over a decade. figured it was finally time to get it out there. Thanks much! - pk "Both of those pieces were indeed inspired by Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, so it seems "poetically just" that they provide a suitable sound track for your drive down the Lake Shore. Awwww, isn't that sweet? Maybe if they put notes in the liners of CD's, people wouldn't need to ask stupid questions like that!

Good point. How hard would it be? A lot of bands have done that.
I was checking their Youtube channel, the 3 most recent videos are the old ones where Nick, Roger, and John are interviewing her about that book of hers. That ship has sailed (,grown old, retired, and was scrapped out,)no one else is going to buy the book. I suggest waiting until the winter holiday season and then using it as kindling for the Yule log.
