Hubby put up our tree when Mom was here for Thanksgiving. He loves Christmas, he'd rather GIVE presents than GET them.
It's 8:37 am now, Son is up. He's anxious to take those games to the store and see what credit he can get.

I wanted to put the tree up around the 12th, but Spouse was sucking all the air out of the room, so I got discouraged.

I don't like putting the tree up TOO early, because I get sick of it after a while and want it gone.

I can't get over those people that put up all their decorations for the next holiday as soon as the last holiday's over. I had 2 neighbors that did that here on the street. The day after the kids go trick-or-treating, the Xmas stuff goes up. Valentine's Day crap goes in the window on January 2, and they put Easter decorations all over the yard on February 15th. Aiyeee!

Hubby took all our Christmas stuff down the other day, I was glad to see it go so I could clean up the house. We brought his exercise bike into the living room in the corner where the tree was, so he can use it more often. It was just in the way in the garage.
I can't wait to go through the garage this spring and get our yard sale stuff organized, I want to make more space in there.

The entirety of Christmas stuff was that ridiculous tree. It goes back in the box later today.
I have to get some pics into the computer, you have to see how awful that stupid tree is.

I like ours because it has all our family ornaments on it. Stuff my Mom had, stuff we bought, stuff Son made, a nice mixture.

Ma still has all the old ornaments I think, unless she gave them to Older Sibling. I have ornaments that go back to my first apartment, and some that Kid made in school. The other ornaments look like one-of-a-kind, but that's because all the matches in the sets got broken over the years!
