Okay, I was sick and the household was crazy with the holiday, but that's no excuse, I AM A BAD ANDY FAN. I forgot to announce that Georgie popped, on the 21st, a boy, I think. Congrats to her and the family! (I'll mosey over to the BT board to get the details eventually.)

I saw that post from someone on Facebook. It would have been nice to see photos of Andy with his new grandson.
I love babies, they are the best part of life.

Evidently the announcement was made on A2's Facebook page. He and Roger's kid are in a band together, so I guess it's okay for DD fans to stalk them. Eww.
Anyway, I know that Andy and Tracey will spoil the little thing rotten, just like grandparents should! ;D

That's my only hope now that Son gets married and gives me grandkids to spoil, but he'd better make sure he marries a woman who will be good about that stuff.

He strikes me as the type that would marry the right girl.

He knows how I am about kids, especially babies. They'd have to get used to the kids being with Grandma and Grandpa for hours at a time, making baked stuff, playing at a park, buying stuff at the store. It may depend on how they discipline though, I'm not one who believes in hitting kids, but I don't think they should get away with murder either.

It depends on the kid. I wouldn't hit a baby, but if "no" and time-outs aren't working with a toddler, then a swat on the butt might be needed.

I rarely hit Son, he was raised right and didn't need it. The only times I remember hitting him were when he tried to put something in an electrical socket, and when he tried to run out onto our side street.
He's going to be a happy boy, we managed to find a way to get him an XBox One. He has no clue he's getting it either. We will probably be able to swing getting him 2 games, but if he wants more, he'll need to trade in some of his old 360 games for it.

This year's gonna be a bit skimpy. It'll be mostly clothes and stuff the kids need, not so many toys.

I didn't think we'd be able to do it, but Hubby is the type who is willing to do without things for the benefit of others. He's always been that way.

The grandkids will be getting an upgrade, but I don't think they'll get a new XBox here. They only get a few hours on the weekends to play. Other than games and DVDs I have no idea what to get them.

Granddaughter definitely, Grandson, not so much. We made them write out Xmas lists. Spouse is going to pick up some presents today, I'm too sick to go with, so I hope it goes well.

Aiyee! Spouse's car dropped dead, the ignition switch burned out. He had to get the thing towed to my brother's, and by the time they got it apart the parts store had closed. They got it fixed late the next day, so there were 2 days lost, plus the money from the tow bill and parts. So Spouse just got a few things. I went with him yesterday (Xmas Eve) to get the rest of the presents. All the stores closed early, not 9pm early, but 5pm early, so we had to rush through. And we had an extra kid to buy for, Granddaughter's cousin is here for the day. Fuck it, Spouse is taking them to the video game store and Walmart tomorrow to get more stuff. At least I won't have to wrap it! I didn't have much time to wrap everything and get the tree up, so we bought a horrid little $5 tree, it's a foot high and made of spindly green tinsel, it has 10 green lights on it. It's so awful. I'm glad we got it, though. Before I had it all the way out of the box Kitty was attacking it. If she had gone after my regular tree like that I would've had a stroke.
