John Taylor's Warhol June 30th, 2013
This question is for John. A few years ago when you had the web site Trust The Process could have even gone farther back to B5 you did an e-mail contest. I believe that every tenth e-mail was a winner and the prize was limited edition Notorious prints. I was one of the lucky winners It says "Have a Kool Yule" and you guys are decked out in Christmas attire and it is number 78 out of 126. Can you tell me more about the print like who was the artist or anything that you can remember. I have had many people ask me about it so I am hoping you can shed some light on my mystery. Thanks Anita
It was not the work of a Warhol. It was our big idea, and we just got the nearest art person to add the beards and Santa drag. I came across a big pile of them in storage and decided to give 'em away in a TTP contest. Glad you liked. JT

I'm in John's Retreat Into Art poster that came with the album, there's a photo of myself and my best friend at the time in there. It's the next to last photo on that poster. I've got one of them on our bedroom wall. You have NO idea how excited I was to find out he actually picked my photo for that.

Uber cool!! You had to be on Cloud Nine. Think of all the photos he and the other DD's get from the fans, any single pick is a rare treat. Good for you!!

Yeah, there is a BUNCH of people on that poster, but I was still super excited when I found out my photo was on it. Nobody told me, I found out by seeing the poster online!
They had the TTP website back then, and asked that fans send in photos for a poster to be made. I'm just glad I got a copy of it!

TTP was a great site. Too bad no one's been able to duplicate the formula.

Yeah, and it's too bad John isn't still making his own music. It was better than anything that was on RCM for sure. He's not the best singer by a long shot, but Feelings Are Good was raw and awesome.

Sometimes a song sounds better when the singer doesn't have a perfect voice. It's more believable. I love Rod Stewart's old stuff, like Gasoline Alley. I insist on having that song played at my funeral.

Tiger Tiger is the only song I can think of that if I had a funeral I"d want played at it. I think I'd be better off being cremated or having my body donated to science so my family wouldn't have to pay for a funeral. My mom is doing that, and now Hubby's mom is doing that too. No costs for the family at all. What the hell am I going to do with my body after I'm dead anyway?

I want to be cremated and have my ashes shot into space. The space part's a little too expensive, though. You can still have the funeral after you're cremated. They just put the urn on a wide pedestal with a photo and small vases of flowers around it. That saves money on the casket, the big huge flower sprays, whatever burial clothes, the formaldehyde, the hearse, and a bunch of other expenses.

Nah, I don't see the point in wasting the money. My family can get together at someone's house for a rememberance dinner or something.

Headstones are a ripoff. They want a fortune for the things.
If Spouse insists on getting me a headstone (he's hardcore traditionalist) I want it to say something like Yeah, I'm dead, now fuck off, ya wank.
