Record Store Day Collectible – Duran Duran's "Is There Something I Should Know?" April 18th, 2013 The 'Is There Something I Should Know' blue vinyl from EMI for Record Store Day is truly a collectible. Not only is it strictly limited edition, and available in a very small quantity, but there was an oversight with regard to the band's official website on the package. The correct URL, duranduran.com, is, unfortunately, not represented on the back of the sleeve. There was no time to correct this mistake, so those who are lucky enough to grab a copy of the vinyl have a collectible in many ways! www.duranduran.com/wordpress/2013/record-store-day-collectible-duran-durans-is-there-something-i-should-know/

So why didn't they say what WAS on it, or was there NO website at all? Why even bother talking about it if they aren't going to explain the whole mistake? Geez....

They think that everyone will buy it because of the mistake, and look at it then. They don't seem to understand a "defect" is only valuable if non-defective copies are also issued. The Duh is strong with them.

I cancelled my order for this, I wish I didn't have to, but I did. Can't justify spending that kind of money unless I"m working a full time job.

I just reordered it. Sean had told me I shouldn't have cancelled it, so I'll get it. $35 bucks with shipping, a bit on the high side, but it's something I really wanted.

It is a bit pricey, but still, the EvilBay prices will be outrageous. Good thing to get it now. I won't be ordering it myself.

You aren't a vinyl freak like me. That's a good thing, if I had the money, I'd have TOO much of that shit in the house and nowhere to put it.

If I had the room I would be. Not that I need room for vinyl, I'd make room for that. I don't have any way to reconfigure my computer desk to clear off enough space for a computer record player.

My desktop stereo with the record player in it is over on the other wall, on a small stand with the speakers next to it, the cassettes in box lids under the stand, and the vinyls sitting on their ends on each side of the speakers. I have a rotating CD holder on top of the stereo.
I was really hoping at some point I'd have a room, like an office, where I could have put all those vinyls in frames like I had before, and have a room with them hanging everywhere.

Mine are in a cabinet next to me, but the lamp table blocks it. My computer desk I never did like, I set things up more left- than right-handed. It's too small too, with no drawers or anything. It's way too cluttered.

We have a big L shaped desk tucked in the corner here (you can probably see it next to the set of 2 bookcases in the living room in one of those house photos), it has a hutch for storage.

I need a few more shelves on this one. But instead of adding in more shelves I'd rather just build a new one. I've been planning on doing that for the last 4 years. Never have gotten around to it yet though...

LOL, isn't that the way it always works.
We got this one from Staples years ago. It's a cheaply made thing, but it does what it needs to do.

Yeah, this one's an el cheapo too. I never imagined that it would last this long. I hated it from the start, so I wasn't exactly careful with it. ;D It's still solid.
